Candice Amich, the A.W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of English, will give a talk presenting feminist performance as a critical tool for exploring the psychic and bodily effects of neoliberalism. More specifically, her talk examines the extreme body art of Guatemalan performance artist Regina Jose Galindo as a critical response to the amnesia of post-dictatorship culture.
